With a number of players unavailable, the Casuals current strength in depth enabled the Rushmills club to secure a comfortable bonus point win against lowly Biggleswade. After a cagey start, the home side took the lead on twenty five minutes when captain Niall Lawrence crossed with brother Aidan adding the conversion. The lead was extended just after the half hour when No 8 Cam Green touched down with Aidan Lawrence again adding the conversion. Biggleswade rallied and finished the half with a spell of sustained pressure but were prevented from scoring by fine defense from prop Lee Lawrence.
Scrum half Lewis Barker capped an excellent performance with a sniping try seven minutes into the second half with full back Lawrence again adding the conversion. The bonus point was added with some style on fifty five minutes when winger Jonny Schoeman scored a magnificent solo try having picked the ball up in his own half, Lawrence again added the conversion. The scoring was completed with late tries from the Lawrence brother, Aidan scoring his first and Niall adding his second of the game. Aidan converted his own try but missed the 100% record by the finest of margins as his final effort struck the left hand upright.
The bonus point win saw the Casuals extend their lead at the top of the table to two points as second place Stamford were victorious but failed to secure a bonus point.
